Alfonso D'Artega，Conductor, songwriter ("In the Blue of Evening"), conductor, arranger and pianist who came to the USA in 1918. He was educated at Strassburger Conservatory and studied with Boris Levenson. He conducted orchestras for network radio, theatres, films, records and concerts, and originated the "pops" concerts at Carnegie Hall.
