Jacob Kalich was born on November 18, 1891 in Rymanów, Galicia, Austria-Hungary. He is known for his work on Fiddler on the Roof (1971), Good Luck (1923) and Yidl mitn fidl (1936). He was married to Molly Picon. He died on March 16, 1975 in Lake Mahopac, New York, USA.
