维克多·谢尔盖耶夫，Viktor Sergeev (Sergeyev) was born in 1938, in the Soviet Union. He studied journalism at Belorussian University in Minsk, then was assistant director at Belarus Film Studio, then worked as director at Leningrad Television. In 1988, Sergeev made his directorial debut with 'Klad' (1988 TV movie), a criminal drama set during the Soviet perestroika.
