Edith Bukovics is a native of Vienna, Austria and was raised in numerous countries as her family moved between Norway, The Netherlands, New Zealand, the US and the UK. She is the granddaughter of the Austrian organist and composer Anton Heiller, and great-granddaughter of Emmerich Bukovics, actor and Artistic Director of the Vienna Volkstheater.
