Luigi Benvisto was born in Italy and since young he developed a passion for art. At the age of 25 he received a scholarship from Bernardo Bertolucci to study cinema in the United States. He arrived in New York in 2008. In 2009 he worked as cinematographer on his first feature length narrative movie.
