John Stephen Rothenberg，John was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Ventnor City, NJ. When he was 3 years old, he and his sister, Annie, modeled bathing suits on The Steel Pier in Atlantic City. He attended Atlantic City Friends School for 10 years, but graduated from The Oxford Academy in Westbrook, CT.
