Derek Gibbons，Born 5th May 1981 in Dunfermline in the east of Scotland, Derek Gibbons moved down to London in 1999 to study music. Classically trained on both the violin and piano, he was awarded an Honours degree in Music, then went on to study a Masters degree at Kingston University - achieving a commendation for his film and TV composition work.
