John V. Knowles，An army brat, Knowles grew up on military bases all over the world. He earned his BFA in graphic design from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. In 2005, he formed Weirdsmobile Productions, Inc. with his wife Lotti. He has written and directed a variety of other projects, including commercials, corporate videos, web series and music videos.
