John Mansfield，Born John Chacamaty in 1916. Graduated from Biddeford High School, Biddeford, Maine, class of 1935 and was known as an exceptional varsity athlete and a talented violinist. Attended Colby College in Waterville, Maine, where he became involved in dramatics.
