Wild

While Bosnia-Herzegovina was at war in the early 90's, a 20 year old commander of a paramilitary group shared his daily meal ration to feed the wild horses wandering the front line. From the same unit, one soldier who was captured behind enemy lines and tortured in a prison camp also had a connection to the wild horses as a farm boy from the area. They may have lost their young adulthoods to the war, but Lija and Ziljko would soon rediscover their humanity by tending to this same herd of horses that survived the war only to be threatened once again by man. 'WILD' takes us to the breathtaking high plains where Lija and Ziljko continue to fight, but this time to save the wild horses from the poachers and urbanization that continue to threaten their very existence.
