John Thomas McIntyre，American novelist and playwright John Thomas McIntyre was born in Philadelphia, PA, in 1871. After he graduated high school he got a job on a Philadelphia newspaper, "The Times", writing stories for its Sunday edition. McIntyre set his stories in the poorer sections of the city, and they met with success.
