Swathi Bhaskar was born into a Middle class family in Kerala. His father, K. Bhaskaran, an Engineer in the electricity board was a playwright and an actor. His uncle, O. Madhavan is also very known Dramatist and theatre Director. From childhood he showed his interest in arts, culture and literature.
