Masami Akita was born on December 19, 1956 in Tokyo, Japan. He is a composer and director, known for 'Shitsurakuen': jôbafuku onna harakiri (1990), Beyond Ultra Violence: Uneasy Listening by Merzbow (1998) and The Dead Man 2: Return of the Dead Man (1994).
