伊夫·考蒙，After graduating from the FEMIS film school, Yves Caumon decided to return to Gaillac, near Toulouse, his native region and started directing shorts such as La beauté du monde (1999). One of these, Les filles de mon pays (1999) was awarded the 2000 Jean Vigo Award.
