Jamison Smith，Jamison was born in Waukegan, IL, to Kendall Smith and Helyn ("Ceil") Smith. He attended schools in suburban Chicago and in Culver, IN, before continuing his studies at the University of Denver. In 1979, he moved to Vail, CO, and after 17 years of living in "poverty with a view", moved his family to Bend, OR.
