Shahram Qadir was born in Ranya an Iraq-Iran border town. He lives in Sweden since 1995. Shahram Qadir earned a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree in Art and Art History from Sweden Södertörn University. He began making short films in 2005. His first short film is Sarab. The Confessor is Qadir's second film recorded in 2007 in Erbil-Iraq.
