Dragana Matrak was born on 18 April 1990 in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She studied acting at the University of Dzemal Bijedic in Mostar, Faculty of the humanistic science, acting department. Her professor and mentor was the famous ex-yugoslavian actor Ferid Karajica. She is an professional actress who works in theater and film.
