Steven W. Easley，Formerly a Marine Sergeant and top-notch Pinkerton detective, Easley began writing professionally in 1981. A junior in high school, he joined the staff of the Chester County Independent a weekly newspaper published in Henderson, Tennessee. Easley worked primarily as a reporter and photographer covering high school sports and student events.
