Bernhard Kaun，American-born film composer of German ancestry. Began his career as a conductor at the Alhambra Theatre in his native Milwaukee. From 1930, he worked in Hollywood for Universal, Warner Brothers and Paramount (often on horror films) as orchestrator and composer of scores and incidental music.
