Wenzel Lüdecke，Germany has a long tradition of dubbing foreign films into the German language which started in 1930s. Beginning from late 1950s, not only films, but popular TV series from the United States and Great Britain were also dubbed. The Berliner Synchron Wenzel Lüdecke Studio has been the most celebrated one in the dubbing industry in West Germany.
