Gordon Kay，Gordon Tully Kay was born September 6, 1916, in Montreal, Canada. He grew up in Newton, Massachusetts, and attended Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire. He graduated from Williams Collee where he was on the wrestling team and a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
