Richard Grégoire，Richard Gregoire was born in Montreal in 1944. Studied music at the faculty of music at the Université de Montréal and composition with the well known french-Canadian composer Serge Garant. He won a National Arts Council grant in 1968 and served an apprenticeship in france with the prestigious O.R.T.F. under the direction of Pierre Schaeffer.
