Richard L. Olsen is a native Texan, born in Ft Worth, Texas. He has also lived overseas for many years, giving him a unique world-view. His portrayals are diverse; from Texas Rangers, outlaws and bartenders, to nuclear physicists, police detectives and rogue preachers.
