Bonnie Orr was born in High Point, North Carolina. She has a master`s in communication and a Ph.D. in marketing/advertising from the University of Texas at Austin. Bonnie completed the graduate-level professional program in screen writing at UCLA. She wrote and co-produced her own TV pilot called "Poodle Dog Lounge.
