Her short film Forever’s Gonna Start Tonight premiered at Sundance in 2011[4] and was on Indiewire's "The Best of the Best" list.[5] Hittman's first feature film, It Felt Like Love, opened at IFC Center in March 2014,[6] and has received positive reviews, with a score of 84% on Rotten Tomatoes.[7] It was a New York Times[8] and Village Voice[9] Critics' Pick. She was named one of Filmmaker Magazine's 25 New Faces of Indie Film in 2013.[10]
