Women are the focal point here for von Praunheim, the longtime gay activist and filmmaker whose other LGBTQ documentaries include I Am My Own Woman and (also screening in this series) Tally Brown, New York; the director joins Ulli Buschbacher, Anna Steegmann, and Claudia Steinberg as they arrive in NYC from Germany, taking the ferry and subway while looking for love.
