After the mysterious 1950's murders which happened upon the infamous 'Island of the Dolls', a modern-day British journalist, Emily has been assigned to research and uncover the truth of the unspoken event. With the assistance of her photographer friend and several Mexican natives, they travel to the mysterious island, and soon discover the danger of which awaits them. Despite some spooky, sometimes threatening incidences, Emily is determined to crack the case but as her friends disappear one by one, she is forced to accept the truth and realise, all dolls like to play.
