“公主与我”讲述了玛丽安娜·皮岑的故事，她是全球第一个女艺术家博物馆的创建者，也是一直力争提高女艺术家地位的团体“Zart&Zackiq”九位创始人之一。电影跟随她的脚步，记录了她作为女艺术家所做的工作，尤其是1998年去北京、杭州和上海调查中国女艺术家的旅行。电影再现了皮岑通过抗议、展览等在艺术世界里争取女性权利地位的心路历程。 In the film the Princess and I the director follows Marianne Pitzen, director of the first worldwide Museum for Women in the Arts and one of the nine founders of the group “Zart&Zackiq”, which was known for fighting to establish a place for women in the arts. The film follows her work as an artist and particularly on a trip to Beijing, Hangzhou, and Shanghai in search of Chinese women artists in 1998. The film follows Pitzen on her journey to care a place for women in the art world through protests and through exhibitions.
