A satire about showbiz: Peter Schlönzke was raised in the large mid-German industrial area "Ruhrgebiet" and is an adoring fan of the show "Fun Unlimited" and its host Heinz Wäscher. Peter wants to be like him, but when he attends a talent contest, he fails entirely, manages to get only a job as cable person. His view behind the background lets him see the real personality of his idol: an arrogant choleric. By his innocence and motivation Peter gets probated soon and manages to start a showbiz career himself.
