The twenty-seven minutes of Love (2001) will experience an interview with a young pro-Palestinian who is in a prison, telling the story of his life, his trade as a press photographer and his conversion to an Israeli elite soldier, with all the complications resulting from it. The fact that Escartín himself has worked as a war photographer explains his director's concern to stop the violent images and confront the prisoner without prejudice, letting the words speak for themselves.
