Erik Lund is a professor in child psychology renowned for his theories on child upbringing. He gets the opportunity to test his theories in practice when his sister leaves for Paris and he has to look after her five kids. The kids take advantage of their uncle's lack of experience - among other things they persuade him to fix up their old wreck of a home which is about to be sold.
