Rekorder is a mixed-format independent Filipino film that tells the story of Maven, a former movie cameraman from the golden age of Filipino cinema in the 1980s. Now a movie pirate operating in present day Manila, Maven routinely smuggles an obsolete video camcorder into movie theaters in order to illegally record films.
