Moscow surgeon Maksim Kuzovlev comes to a remote fishing village after being transferred to a new hospital. At the same time, handsome former soldier Petr Grabov returns home and moves to the same village to work as a fisherman. On Maxim's first day, Anya, a young and attractive nurse, catches his attention, and he falls in love with her instantly.
