A 8 year-old girl is trapped underneath the rubble of a collapsed church. The struggle to save her becomes an around-the-clock story on the nightly news, as viewers pray for her rescue. Meanwhile, a young priest and a female EMT worker, who has lost her faith in God, fight through psychological terror to save her, soon realizing that they are pawns in an interminable battle between good and evil.
