Widower and journalist Klaus Berger takes care of his 11 year-old daughter Anna, but doesn`t have much time for her. As he falls in love with attractive lawyer Judith, problems grow. Judith has problems of her own, and Anna doesn`t easily accept a new `mother` unless absolutely convinced she`s the right woman for her dad.
