This is a joint project of the famous Kazakh director Akan Sataeva and TV channel "Khabar". The original story, based on the famous book by Alexander Beck "Volokolamsk Highway" tells the story of the ascent of the legendary commander Bauyrzhan Momyshuly. The film begins in July 1941, when Major General Panfilov instructs the then lieutenant Bauyrzhan Momyshuly formation of a new division.
