With "Karmma" the Columbian actor Orlando Pardo made his directorial debut. A rather dry story which could have worked better with a tighter team of actors. The film begins well but as it moves forward one has the impression that the director is not using to the full the resources at his disposition. "Karmma" is a film which is indicative of Columbian Cinema, where ideas, even good ones, have to deal with a cinematographic industry which is hardly receptive.
