A Quixotic Greek-Canadian Cowboy holds on to his land, and struggles, seeking to pass the the torch to his unwilling Yuppie nephew. Nick Pappadapoulis, an 'economically-challenged' Greek Canadian cowboy, is a modern day Don Quixote, holding on to his land and his 'Kefi' (old world honor and Zorba-like vitality) against all odds in a ranching community that is being invaded by the industrialized/corporate world. He has daily conversations about his dreams, Visions and struggles with a Native Messenger who comes out of a Medicine Wheel that is on his land. The Wheel is a porthole to the Realm of Light, the Messenger begging Nick to come with him to where 'he doesn't have to fight' before the door closes and it is too late. But Nick is determined to hold onto his land and his Kefi more than ever due to recent family developments.
