A young boy named Spencer, falls in love for the first time in his life with a girl named Maddie. They are together through the rest of their high school careers. Until, one day, Maddie is killed by a hit and run. Spencer is sad and depressed about loosing his girlfriend. Maddie's sister Ella comes to town to visit her sister's grave. When Spencer and Ella meet, they come up with the idea to find the man responsible for killing Maddie to bring him to justice.
