The people of Pirendorn, plagued by evil and tyranny, seek out help from Jolly Mavis, one of a dying breed who lives a peaceful life in The Valley fishing and singing old Mavis ditties. Jolly gallantly accepts the quest with adventure in his heart and a song on his tongue.
