Deandre Hudds is struggling to pick up the pieces of his troubled life after a very tragic case. Along the way he meets Shondra Kennedy, a young grad student is working towards getting her masters degree. Deandre finds himself falling for Shondra and Shondra feels the same but she has a past that keeps her from fully opening up to Deandre.
