Jack is shown walking around his home town. He his narrating his experience in a nutshell. A flashback opens on Jack as a young man, packing his bags. Jack runs through the town and gets on the ship. A few hours later he is shown in a dining room. Jack dances to music. Later that night he is awaken by a loud sound. Jack runs out on deck. Jack sees Victor Hamilton throwing rocks at the wall. After talking for a little while, a loud sound is heard. Captain Smith says that he wants the bell to be rung to warn people. A young woman named Samantha hears the bell as she's taking a bath. She hops up and gets dressed. The three meet in 3rd class while evacuating. They try to escape from drowning. A man runs over and breaks the lock. Jack, Victor, and Samantha rush through the halls. Victor kisses Samantha as the ship is sinking. Jack grabs Victor's hand as he starts to fall off the ship. Samantha jumps into a life boat as Victor pulls Jack up on deck.
