Tomasso is a bright, educated and ambitious 26-year-old wasting his life working in a hockey arena. Tomasso and his best friend Leo plan a trip to Europe so Tomasso can escape the painful memory of his girlfriend leaving him. Tomasso and Leo try to convince their unhappily married friend Evan to go to Europe but his wife won't let him making Evan bitterly angry. Tomasso meets Martina--a comfortable distraction--before he voyages to Europe. Martina looking for love and trying to please her overbearing mother goes to great lengths to find fulfillment as all the characters do as they face an identity crisis in their twenties.
