A dramatized interpretation of historical events of the run-up to the marriage of the Dutch crown prince Willem-Alexander () and Máxima Zorreguieta (). Prime Minister Kok () tries to prevent a cabinet crisis and sends the Minister of State, Max van der Stoel (), to New York to tell father Zorreguieta () that he is not welcome at the wedding of his daughter, because of his controversial role in the Videla regime in the 1970s.
