The Catch: Costa Rica is a high octane reality competition series that takes the contestants on a fishing adventure like no other. Twelve men and women with varied fishing experience travel to Costa Rica where they must live with one another, hone their angling skills and out-fish the competition in order to earn the title of Ultimate Fisherman and win a prize of $50,000. In thirteen half-hour episodes, the contestants will experience all the thrills and heartbreak of sport fishing in Costa Rica. After the conclusion of each round the bottom four contestants are judged before their fellow competitors and the losers are eliminated. As the numbers dwindle and the contest ramps up, each decision brings the fishermen closer to ultimate victory and $50,000. These twelve strangers all bring something different to the table.
