La Mer de Pianos, is a beautiful short film by the UK duo Tom Wrigglesworth and Mathieu Cuvelier, that tells the story of Marc Manceaux and his shop Fournitures Generales Pour le Piano. Fournitures Generales Pour le Piano, is the oldest piano shop in Paris, and is best described as a chaotic scrap yard for pianos. Its a place where piano tuners and musicians alike, can come find lost parts, in order to restore old pianos to their former glory. However, as Manceaux says in the film, every year sales decrease a little more, reminding that this too, will soon be a lost trade
