Anxious for a fresh start, Katie enrolls Travis at Tustin Hills High, a top-rated school miles away from the bad elements they've escaped in LA. But Travis wastes no time becoming big man on campus with his smarts, charm and pockets full of nose candy. Insulated by popular kids, Travis doles it out in the quad at lunch and under the bleachers at football games, expanding his business to neighboring schools. Boyfriend Bo, meanwhile, eludes cops but loses everything and starts over in a seedy motel. When he finally chases down Travis to reclaim his stash, he finds he must submit to this kid he helped raise. The series tracks the near mythical Travis on his quest to build an empire while managing to avoid trouble (for a while) despite the tragedies that occur around him.
