On 18 April a buoyant and confident Theresa May called a snap general election. Meanwhile The Labour Party was split with approval levels at a record low. With extraordinary access, filmmaker David Modell follows Labour MP's Lucy Powell, Stephen Kinnock, Ruth Cadbury and Sarah Champion throughout the election campaign, the aftermath and into the party conference. A tipping point comes at 10pm on election night as the exit poll lands and our protagonists find themselves in a changed world. Labour's narrow election loss is viewed by many as a victory for Jeremy Corbyn and his former opponents in the Labour Party find themselves in a state of confusion. In the weeks after, we see them struggle to find a place in a changing party. Sarah Champion is sacked from the Shadow Cabinet, the others are feeling marginalised as a new generation led by the campaigning organisation Momentum, begins to assert itself with one clear unshakable goal - to take Jeremy Corbyn's transformed Labour Party towards government.
