Having fled their home in Iran, the Dayan family is greeted in Houston with hurricanes and perilous politics. As the family comes to grips with life in the sprawling Texan metropolis, through tender and difficult footage, at times heart-wrenching, we accompany nine-year-old Hana in her struggles to be heard, while questioning immigrant realities in the USA, and being hungry for songs about a kind world.
