American Violence, follows a social recluse, Zach Bauer, who becomes a hero after effortlessly eliminating several terrorists in a hostage situation. In the aftermath, his mental state is brought into question and he must undergo psychological evaluation under a doctor who becomes surprised by his indifference, and fearful of his abilities.
